6 in the afternon with 8*100 m strides. We went to Coach Powells house for our run today, just so we could keep it flat, fast, and get home in toime to utalize the extra time we got from it being a short day.

| Wierd day today. We decided to do our workout in the morning today in order to escape the heat. 4* 1 mile repeats @ Treasure Valley Park. Supposed to hit 5:40-5:45. Went 5:44, 5:38, 5:34, and 5:28.

| 2 mile time trial today. Felt a LOT better today than I did last time, but still not the best I could've done. Hit 11:27, which is 51 seconds faster then I did last time. Not to bad for a morning workout. 6*300m finishes afterwards.

| First race as a varsity runner. I was pretty pumped going into it, and it wasn't a half bad race. My start was pretty crummy. I got caught behind about 20 guys, and it took me the greater part of the first 2 miles to get through all of them. By that time, I was too far behind to catch up to the pack of 4 Pine View boys ahead of me. Regardless, I still ran pretty well. I PR'd by over a minute on that course, and got top 10. Not a bad day.
