| Today was one of the tougher workouts we have ever done on the region course. It was 4*800 meters all out. Coach split us into groups based on our speed. The slowest person in the group started, then, 4 seconds later, the next person would go. The goal was to catch everyone ahead of you and not let anyone pass you. I felt that I did a good job, seeing as how I passed everyone I needed to and was passed only by Joe Buening. After that, we had 4*300 meter finishes.

| Today was the Snow Canyon All-Comers race. It was a bit of a crazy day. I was going to run varsity for the race, because we weren't racing our top 7 boys, but due to a football game, they combined the two boys races into a single race. So, we really didn't get more than half a mile for the warm up, and then we had to wait around for 30 min. for the snow canyon coach to show up so we could start the race. I ran a 17:22, which was decent, seeing as how we really weren't prepared and I wasn't focoused or anything, but it was okay.

| I did 6 miles out past Navajo Ridge today. I was sticking with the gold boys for the first 3 out, but I was really tired from not getting enough to eat, and my leg was feeling abnormally tight. Need to get a massage.

| Today I was scheduled to do a workout, but my leg was giving me some serious issues, so I layed off. Went and got a massage after doing some laps in the pool. It hurt like crap, but now I feel a whole lot better.

| 3 miles today, and I watched the boys crush it at state. Now it's time for track (in my head at least). I know that the mile is more my forte (I won a couple of JV races for the mile and ran in a few varsity races), so my goal, as of right now, is to go to state for the mile.

| 10*400 meter workout today. my time to hit was 1:24, but my times floated around 1:18-1:23. Hamstring tightened a little when we did our 200 meter finishes, so I need to be careful.
