First indoor meet ever for me. Pretty fun running at the Olympic Oval in Salt Lake.  The race was fun. Running on the inside edge of the track was about 20 degrees cooler because of the ice skating rink, and the straightaways were really long too.

Overall, I ran pretty well, considering that I literally have no speedwork. Tied my PR with a 4:38. Good stuff.

Felt REALLY flat going into the workout today because of it. We did a 24 minute progression run. Was supposed to keep progressing all the wawy through, every 2 minutes, but I was so flat that I couldn't speed up after 18.

Dirty Hurty Half Marthon today. Overall, a very fun race. The course was challenging and trail based, and it was a half marathon :). Fartlek workout (again). I did 4:4, 3:3, 2:2, 1:1, with 4*30 sec afterwards. Pretty meh workout. I'm not feeling the best. I'm definitley sick.

Today was baptism by fire day. first real workout in a while to dhake off the rust. We did 3*1000, 4*400, and 2*300. The paces got gradually faster throughout. Felt pretty crummy today, but I hit all of my times. Good way to start the week and get back into the swing of things.

2 mile warmup, 3200 race, and cooldown for milage. 

Overall, a pretty iffy race. It started out on pace, going 5:00, but I didn't have it in me to push through the pain and keep the pace. It definitley didn't help that I fell behind, and couldn't regain traction with the main group. If I had someone to run with, I think I might have done better, but it's hard to say.

20 minute progression run on the track today. We started @ 7:05, then droped the pace by 15 seconds every 2 minutes. The workout felt actually very easy. It was way harder when we did it at the beginning of the year.

Crazy fast workout today on the track. We did 4*200 at race pace, a 600 at race pace, a 600 far faster than our race pace, and then 2 400s at that same crazy fast pace. 

Pretty hard, but I mae it through it. Ben came today, so that was nice.

Hardest run in recent memory. 

I went down to Navajo Dr to do the 14 mile loop with Spencer Ford. This should've seemed like a bad idea, considering that I haven't ran that much at a single go in over half a year, but whatever. It didn't help that I ate next to nothing yesterday, and bonked hard at about mile 6. Still made it through alive though. i've learned my lesson.
