Workout today.  We did 200, 400, 800, 1200, 1200, 800, 400, 200, at 1:18/lap with 2:00 recovery between each repeat. Pretty good workout, nothing too crazy.

Dirty Hurty Half Marthon today. Overall, a very fun race. The course was challenging and trail based, and it was a half marathon :). However, I've never raced a half before, so I went way too hard for the first five or so miles, and was too tired to push hard at the end. Otherwise, it was a good day.

Pretty crummy race today. We started out WAY too slowly, and I was 5 seconds behind pace by the end of the first lap. Tried my best to make up for that, but it wasn't enough. Pretty crummy for a first race, but it's better than going way too fast for the first lap.

Today was baptism by fire day. first real workout in a while to dhake off the rust. We did 3*1000, 4*400, and 2*300. The paces got gradually faster throughout. Felt pretty crummy today, but I hit all of my times. Good way to start the week and get back into the swing of things.

Workout today on the track.  We did 2 mile warmup, 4*400, 1*800, 2*400, 4*200, and cooldown to get milage. Overall, a very hard workout. The paces were really fast. Good stuff.

2 mile warmup, 3200 race, and cooldown for milage. 

Overall, a pretty iffy race. It started out on pace, going 5:00, but I didn't have it in me to push through the pain and keep the pace. It definitley didn't help that I fell behind, and couldn't regain traction with the main group. If I had someone to run with, I think I might have done better, but it's hard to say.

16*400 in the afternoon. We did the first 8 @ 1:15, 4 @ 1:09, and 4 @ faster than 1:09. Pretty challenging workout, but I managed ot get through it.

20 minute progression run on the track today. We started @ 7:05, then droped the pace by 15 seconds every 2 minutes. The workout felt actually very easy. It was way harder when we did it at the beginning of the year.
